The ultrasonic flaw detector UD4-T "Tomographic" is a technological know-how that continues a series of the widely used flaw detector-tomograph UD4T (UD4-C), including its conceptual and methodical solutions:

The digital technologies used in the UD4-T "Tomographic" allow to implement a set of different purpose ultrasonic facilities in one device, which completely meet the user requirements. Separate application software is selected and activated via the user "menu" likewise Windows where every task is a self-contained ultrasonic device: Flaw Detector, Thickness Gauge, Tensometer, etc.
The flaw detector UD4-T "Tomographic" also provides the "multitask" mode when several UT applications can operate simultaneously (background): the user, operating the flaw detection can also operate the thickness gauging modes and vice versa.
The flaw detector UD4-T "Tomographic" is finely combined with different specialized NDT equipment; it has a wide set of accompanying accessories: distance sensor, acoustic scanner, optical system for binding of probe coordinates, as well as other means of coupling and visualization. One of the last development is the video scanner function intended to visualize the testing process in hard-to-reach places. Use of the video camera enables to display simultaneously the tested area and transducer signal on the device screen.
Flexible functionality, simple setting and operation convenience make UD4-T "Tomographic" to an irreplaceable tool for all types of non-destructive testing.
